OREGON OPEN TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Come watch the world's best play in Portland, Oregon

All tournament matches to be played on the Championship Court at the renowned Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, Oregon. Remaining Individual Session Tickets go on sale January 2, 2008. Contact Anders Giltvedt. All net ticket proceeds will go to our non-profit beneficiary, ARC.

Draw lottery for qualification on the Championship Court.

Watch the tournament get underway with Sunday's qualification matches. The first match begins at 1:00PM, with subsequent matches to immediately follow.

MAC'S Assistant Squash Professional, Mohsen Mir, club member Phillip Corbajal, and our nationally ranked juniors Adam Perkiomaki and Charlie Wagner, will test their squash savvy against tour players today. Come and cheer them on!

Juniors - bring a couple of friends for free pizza and introductory clinics by Head Professional, Khalid Mir and Mohsen Mir.



Monday, February 18 - Qualification Final

The final round of the qualification is sure to exhibit thrilling and
intense match-ups between up-and-coming players looking
to collect PSA ranking points by moving forward into the main
draw.

The first match will take place at 5:00pm.

Starting at 5:00 pm, we will first feature the four matches placed in the top section of the draw.

This will include our #1 seeded player and 2002 World Champion David Palmer from Australia, and a trio from Egypt — a powerhouse in professional squash.



Wednesday, February 20

Starting at 4:00pm, we will feature the four matches placed
in the lower section of the draw.


Julian Illingworth, who recently conquered World #17 Olli Tuominen in the Tournament of Champions in New York, will take on France’s #25 Renan Lavigne. French compatriot and 2004 World Champion, Thierry Lincou, the #2 seed, will finish off the session.




Thursday, February 21 - Quarter Finals

If last year’s 6-hour quarter final session is any indication, Thursday will exhibit four exciting quarter final matches with each winner securing valuable PSA ranking points.

CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL AND BODYVOX SQUASH SHOW

On-the-Court Tournament Celebration Party

The Saturday program begins with some unusual Pro-Am
squash challenges.


Then fasten your seat belts! At 3:30pm, once again we will
hold the popular Lightning Cash Pot Knock Out between a
few of our PSA pros and a few amateurs.


Bodyvox, a fun and creative dance troupe from Portland, will
put the squash box to alternative use for your entertainment.


ARC, the tournament beneficiary, will present their program.


The Oregon Open Championship Game is expected to start
at approximately 4:00pm.


Immediately following the Championship Final and Award
Ceremony, we welcome everybody to join us for the Tournament
Party on doubles court 2.
